So, I'm back online checking on my dA account. Ive been away for a good 3 years and 2 months. Holy crap that's been long.

So whats been up? I recently got into the Warhammer Hobby. By recently, I mean since January 2007. I'm not too good with the gaming part of the hobby. But I do love painting. In the 3 years that passed, I have managed to paint up two personal armies, the Wood Elves and the Dark Elves. Currently working on commission on an Empire Army. Will post that later in the week when I'm bored. I know I said I sucked at the gaming part, but I just won my first ever RTT. That's a Rogue Trader Tournament. And for first place, I received a starter battalion box. So I asked myself, which army to get? I already have enough models of the Dark Elves and Wood Elves. So I decided that in honor of my first Warhammer model ever painted, (that was Dave's) I will start a Lizardmen army. I will have to add a new section in my gallery to accommodate my miniatures.

Oh, and I kinda like this new skins (I say new, because I haven't been here for quite some time).

Anyway, I think I'll be back and staying for a while. What do you think?

How much has Cagayan de Oro changed since I left? It has 1 more bridge, it has 2 more malls... and now, I hear they're thinking of dividing CDO into 2 districts! With 2 mayors... Hmm that's definitely going to be different. I want to go back so bad, but I fear that if I ever go home, it won't be the same home I remember it to be.

Im missing most of my gallery. Have no idea what happened. My scraps is gone too. Every single one.

I might quit dA anyway.

DeviantArt v5 looks pretty cool. I like the fresh new interface. Even if it doesnt change the whole site, it looks pretty clean. Most of the navigation is still the same, which is good. I like the fonts too, btw. Overall, it breathes new life into the old interface giving it a more "designer" feeling. Hehe.

Drawings, drawings, drawings. I never thought time would come when my hand would stop holding a pencil onto a sheet of paper. Recently, I've had pain in my wrist from holding the pencil (the same way I used to hold a pencil since I was able to draw). I'm afraid it might be CTS. God, I hope not. I still want to draw. Maybe a Wacom can re-awaken the urge. Hehehe. I need more ideas. I need more drawings. I have a few, but none that I think would pass the scrutiny of the DA community. I might post some soon. MIGHT.

Anyway, "Art is a step from what is obvious and well-known toward what is arcane and concealed." I need to stop living in the obvious and look deeper. I might open something creative in me. My imagination is getting dimmer, and I hope not to lose what I cherished about my childhood.

I bought the 30D! Now I'm broke! hehehe.
